International Equine Shiatsu Conference 2020

This year the International Equine Shiatsu Conference will be hosted by tESA on 6th & 7th June 2020 at Middlepart Farm Stables and Stud, Saltcoats, Ayrshire KA21 6NH

Speakers: Elaine Liechti, former chair of tESA, principal teacher at Glasgow School of Shiatsu on Qi Awareness and Quantum Shiatsu. She began studying shiatsu at the East West Centre in London in 1980, and having completed Kushi Institute Levels 1 and 2, she went on to study with leading teachers from the UK, US and Japan. Elaine established a Shiatsu teaching programme in Glasgow in 1986 and has been a teacher at the Glasgow School of Shiatsu since then.

Vivienne Isaac, Equine & Human Shiatsu practitioner and Ride With Your Mind instructor on An Introduction to Shiatsu Shin Tai on horses. ShinTai is a unique form of Shiatsu originating with Saul Goodman in the USA , that places a strong focus on work with the GV and CV meridians .Viv has studied ShinTai extensively with Kindy Kaur, and this is the first time this has been presented within an equine framework .

Mette Tranter, Connected Riding instructor on Postural & Non-habitual Exercises for Specific Meridians on Horses. Based on biomechanics of movement, Connected Riding teaches riders to synchronize their movements with those of their horses to create more ease and better performance.

All tea, coffee and lunches are included in the price.

Price for both days is £75 but for one month only (until 1st March) tESA members can have an early bird discount price of £60.
